WHO ARE THE WAM STUDENTS?
Students in grades 9-12 are accepted and 8th graders who show maturity and responsibility are also accepted. We do not turn anyone away and therefore are fortunate to have a very diverse group of students who become mentors. This is not a program only for the model students. We value struggling students, students on the autism spectrum, students with learning disabilities, and students of differing ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds expectations. WAM gives everyone the opportunity to be a leader in the community.
